Volvo Cars maintains a strong sales momentum into the second half of 2018, with global sales up 15 per cent in July, compared with the same month last year. The company sold a total of 50,931 cars in July, as sales grew in all main markets.
Volvo Cars, the premium car maker, has received almost 80,000 orders for the new award-winning XC40 small SUV and is expanding production in Europe and China in order to meet demand.
Volvo Cars’ positive momentum continued in April as the premium car maker reported a global year-on-year sales increase of 12.2 for the month, growing in all its main markets. Total sales for the month reached 52,635 cars compared to 46,895 a year earlier.
Volvo Cars, the premium car maker, will produce cars for the new car brand Lynk & Co in Volvo Cars’ manufacturing plant in Ghent, Belgium from late 2019.
